This is what I do during music theory...I cartoonify Nick, Maree and Rupert.

(P.S. This is my first Rupert that I've been fully satisfied with!!! I think I finally captured how I see him in my head.)

YESSSS!!!!!! I do that too, actually. I'll have to scan mine in when I dig it up again. :P But oh man, I love your style, and they are SO cute. Especially Rupert, but I might just be saying that because I'm partial to him.

DWJ really does own all. I wonder if there's a club on DA...

that may have a lot to do with a) feeling bad for the poor man and b) identifying VERY strongly with maree :P

they're both such flawed characters-- perhaps even more so than howl, who seems like a saint compared to rupert sometimes-- it's hard not to love them. actually, now that i think of it, rupert and maree are sort of the grownup, real-life versions of howl and sophie. interesting.

WOAHHH, I wouldn't go so far as to say they're more flawed than Howl. Howl's, like, king of flaws. :P But woah, that's actually a really neat comparison... I'm going to have to keep that in mind next time I re(re[re?])read those books. *strokes invisible beard*

...my Rupert looks older... I dunno... Nick is perfect. I love his fake expression of innocence. But you need to draw Rob. In all his centaur beauty.
